Artfully Charmed is the result of having too much denim.

When I was laid off from my job in 2011, I found myself with not a lot to do.

So I made a blanket.

More specifically, a rag quilt from a pile of my husband’s old jeans. I had never done anything like that before, but once I finished, I realized how very versatile a pair of jeans could be. For the rest of the year I made everything from purses and totes to zipper bracelets and earrings from zipper heads. At the end of the year, I sold almost everything at our local Christmas boutique. I was hooked on selling my handmade items.

I still make items from recycled materials. I have also discovered a love of glass art as well as industrial and steampunk elements in jewelry making. And selling at a lot of events showed me something I have in common with the event goers.

We’re pet parents. 

I have 2 cats and a dog. All rescues and treating them to a life of luxury is my life’s goal. The are allowed to get away with almost everything. And just in case you were wondering, yes, they’re spoiled.

So I decided your pets deserve to be spoiled also.

Artfully Charmed offers handmade ceramic bowls and dishes, collars, leashes, and accessories for your loyal friend. I also carry pet related decor and maybe a little something for yourself as well.

So please look around while I try to convince my husband that yes, I do need more pets.
